We have made an intense search to take measures which help protect the environment, such as: energy efficient heating and lighting, waste reduction, water conservation.The acoustics of the lodge have been prepared as well as the heating system to withstand the area’s wide range of climatic conditions. Designed with modern tactics which often employs energy saving and possibly renewable energy technology, all this to minimize the impact of our steps through a unique heritage.
It is our intention that during your time here, in our low impact lodge, you will feel an integral part of this natural paradise, enjoying your stay and leaving only with your memories, without altering the natural surroundings.

del Nomade is equipped with:

• All water used in the rooms and in the laundry is recycled for irrigation and toilets . We re-use water from the showerheads and sinks through a process of organic purification which after passing through a treatment plant is re-used for the toilet tanks and watering the plants of our garden and some trees of the village.
• Use of non-polluting soaps and cleansers.
• This Eco Hotel have low consumption light bulbs and high- efficiency lighting which notably lowers the use of electricity.
• Hot water of the entire installation is achieved by using solar energy, by using collectors helping in the process of the mixed system of heating. The heating of the lodge functions with a mixed system of solar energy and canned gas. Each guestroom has an independently heating system.
• As the sun is a constant factor in this semi-desert latitudes
  to make use of its energy for heating and for hot water is an
  achievement which we wish to promote and to divulge in all of Patagonia.
• The furniture and wooded decks are designed and produced out of
  wood from trees that have fallen naturally. This is an exclusivity of
  Nomads Ecological Lodge.  All the wood used come from the AndesMountains;
  for the exterior we chose Coihue and for interior Cypress.
• We provide you with handmade soaps and personal care products without chemicals or additives on it,  helping a healthy  and well-being skin.
• The common areas are they ozonized creating a relaxing freshness..
• Access to internet is available for those who want to keep up with local and international daily news.
• del Nomade employees have training with an environmental awareness/practices component.
